Owlette In Waiting Never Ending Story
One of my favorite ways to share my Origami Owl Never Ending Story is through events. I meet the most amazing people. I hear so many stories that touch my heart. I get to help people create beautiful jewelry unique to them. What a job!
I met Nicole and her mom, Theresa, in September, 2016, when they came to Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney, Texas. Nicole saw our beautiful heart locket and told Theresa she wanted one. Neither had ever seen Origami Owl before. Mom (Theresa) told Nicole they had just gotten there and said “Let’s walk around and look at everything and if you still want the locket, we will come back and look”.
Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney, Texas is the oldest and largest monthly trade days in North Texas with roots back to the old county-wide market that began in the 1870’s and is located 2 miles west of US75 on US380 (also known as University Drive and is held the Friday-Sunday PRIOR to the 3rd Monday of each month). The physical address is 4550 W University Dr., McKinney TX 75071. With over 450 vendors, there is certainly a lot to see!
After seeing everything there was to offer, Nicole and Theresa came back to me, and Nicole began building her locket! Theresa joined my VIP Group on Facebook for special customer pampering.
In February, Theresa invited me to a bridal shower “vendor party”, and prior to the party, she fell in love with the special “extra joining gift” and decided to become a part of my Origami Owl team.
